Pier 35 North River to Savannah (time, about 60 hours; fare, whence the journey can be continued by rail, or by steamer through the Sea Islands or channel route. For fares by rail, see Table of Railway Fares, p. 149.

How to reach from the West – Two daily express trains, with parlor-cars attached, run direct, without change, from Cincinnati, via Chattanooga, Atlanta, and Jesup, to Jacksonville. Or, from Chattanooga or Atlanta, rail can be taken to Charleston or Savannah, whence the journey to Florida may be made by rail on the Atlantic Coast Line route, or by steamers by the channel route. From Nashville two daily express trains, with parlor-cars attached, run direct through Montgomery and Thomasville to Jacksonville.

From New Orleans and the South, Florida can be reached by the C. L. N. O. R. R. To Flomaton, thence by Pensacola R. R. To Pensacola, where connection is made with the Pensacola Atlantic R. R. To all parts of Florida.
